I cooked dinner!

Yay! I prepared and cooked all of them! Do u believe it? except for the starting of the stove.. I dont dare to turn, asked my Lao Pa for help.

Frying the fish is challenging for me.. I hate the pipping of oil. Luckily I follow my mother's instruction to paint corn starch all over the fish before putting it in hot oil with small fire. It really reduces the amount of pipping and smoke.

My Favourite dish today is the brinjal! It smell and taste the best. Haha..

wedding bells ringing thru out 2009

3 of my friends tied the knot with their partners this year.
We are young, yes we do.
Marriage is a promise to each other. A promise of love.
I am really happy to see my friends finding their love of their life.
browsing thru photos that pictured the vows of love, i was envy of them.
I see happiness in their eyes.
I was nearly there, once, but i chose to end off.

How long after into the relationship does the thought of marriage occur or shld occur?
I am very curious how their partner propose to them.. and did they agree straight off?
Some girls might have been waiting for their boy to pop the question, but it just doesn't happen. Some may just come clean with a open discussion of marriage.
But marriage is a life-long decision. we dont rush it.
but it is also every girl ultimate dream.
I wish them happiness, hand in hand till grow old.

let's talk about love..

I feel it's very unpredictable.

Sometimes you thought you have it, but you dont.

Sometimes involve misunderstanding, trust is lost.

Sometimes I thought of the backstreet boys song, " I don't care who you are, where you're from, dont care what you do, as long as you love me.." - I start to doubt myself with this. I started out with a simple mind of an innocent girl thinking that love should be something like this. Now? I think it's not. Maybe love is blind in the beginning of the r/s, but gradually this blind thing became more "transparent" as in you begin to know each other better - behaviour, character etc.. and you ponder, you think further into the future.. Will you be able to accept him the way he is? (I dont like pple to change cause of what i said, cause I think he wont be happy).

Maybe I care too much about the outcome. I am selfish in this case. I think the more I experience in r/s, the more I dont know how to define love. It's complicated.

working life

If I start counting from the day I had my attachment in China, it would mean that I have been in this working society for like 1 year.

In China, I have never regret my decision to go over and experience the life there. It is really a rare opportunity which I think, probably in my entire life I wont get to work overseas (short-term). Enjoyed the carefree life I had over there. Exploring places especially. Weekends is our favourite.. Miss our supermarket trip!! Miss the weather too.. remembering that it's so cold that only under blanket with thick thick clothing makes me comfy. miss climbing the ladder to my bed.. lolx! and miss my room mates too.. and the happy times. the company bball competition... our team, cheerleaders... the shops outside company.. the "bread van".. so many to mention..

Back to hometown, I joined NTUCIncome. Started off as a 4 months contract staff.. midway, feel like terminate the contract.. but I really want to thank huiling and yunxin. Their accompany and encouragement push me to the end. What's surprising is.. I have been continuing extending my stay until now.. not forgetting me baby, who manage to talk some sense into me.

I started in mid march this year. 7 months already.. first time in my life i worked in a company for 7 months.. ha! With no intention of furthering my studies at the moment, I plan to settle down with a perm job. And, wanna thank my boss for recommending me to other sections and so lucky that I landed in Disbursement. I am really happy about it. Because given the economic situation that we are facing now, it's hard to get a job when companies are finding ways to cut costs.. (retrench, pay cut etc.)

After working in Income for several months, I have familiaries myself with the surrounding.. the people (more or less), and will start to feel lazy to change to a new environment where u have to start all over again. I dont like troublesome things.. and it is not good to job hop now and then. Be committed and get rewarded.. that's how i feel.

To be honest, I am enjoying my working life at the moment. =)

Interesting..

It's a very rare occasion that we buy smoothies after lunch,

but today, we did. Cause we have the feel of taking something refreshing, plus it's been long ago since we pamper ourself with juices.. hehe..

I miss my little chick.
